We are accepting applications for Fall 2024-2025 enrollment.

 

Minimum Requirements for Admission into LS1:

  • Must be 8 years old by September 1 of the current school year.
  • Must be able to read independently at a third grade level.

 

Minimum Requirements for Admission into LS2:

  • Must be able to read independently at a sixth grade level.

 

Minimum Requirements for Admission into HS:

  • Must be able to read independently at a ninth grade level.
  • Knows and can apply basic grammar rules.
  • Is able to read and comprehend a 200-page book written at a ninth grade level.
  • Can draft a 500-word basic essay.
  • Proficient in basic math.

 

Students who thrive at Studio Prep:

  • Have a healthy amount of age-appropriate self-discipline.
  • Enjoy the process of discovering and discussing information and ideas.
  • Value kindness and respect others.
  • Are willing to practice conflict resolution.

 

Admission Dates:

  •  The priority application deadline for Fall Admissions is Friday, April 26, 2024.
  •  Our Family Interviews will take place on Wednesday and Thursday, May 1st and 2nd, 2024.

After you’ve looked over our website, watched the Most Likely to Succeed documentary and reviewed some of the optional books, please come visit us. We are currently operating as masks are optional, but restrictions are fluid and may change.

3Tell us about your family

  • Family Admissions Checklist & Application
  • Let your student(s) create one 3-minute family video interviewing each family member (young & old, including themselves), answering the question: “What project would you do if you had unlimited resources, including money, time, space, etc.?” Please email the link to Info@StudioPrep.org, and check the video privacy settings so we can view it. Remember to let your student take the reins as much as possible in creating the video.
  • Email a sample of your students’ writing (creative writing, poetry, etc.) to Info@studioprep.org
  • Email pictures or a video of a recent project/assignment of which your student is proud to Info@studioprep.org
  • Co-Op or School Records
  • Teacher Evaluations

5Schedule a Shadow Day & Family Interview

We invite students that pass the application

screening to shadow and interview.
